GLOBETROTTER CHALLENGE:
Want to try something slightly different? A rally
with a difference! The secret is out going by last years' riders feedback.
The Timaru Bronz Club annual Road Trial Rally will be
held on the weekend of the 26/27th September 09, an event that requires the
participants to be interactive and to navigate a easy short timed road trial
to get to the otherwise unknown rally site destination. This has proved to
be an enjoyable event, an emphasis being placed on everyone having a good
time, thus a sense of humour is compulsory.
For any queries, further
information, contact the rally co-ordinator mdjones@ihug.co.nz , Entry fee includes rally badge, evening meal and breakfast.

This is a great rally , my personal favourite having been to the 10 of the last 11. You have to follow the instructions to get there but its all good fun and a great day out. There are great roads and scenery hidden behind Timaru. Got my neighbour to go last year and he swears he will be back.

Sorry about the entry form, I had one on their but it proved difficult to upload/download. I am working on it however and should resolve the issue soon. The main idea of the event is to follow a set of easy instructions (and I mean easy) to navigate to the unknown rally site. You will be timed over the 120km course (starting from Timaru) and thus a scorecard is kept on your performance. There are prizes for this, individual and teams, so team up with 2 of your mates and have a go. The emphasis is on an enjoyable event, how serious you want to be is up to you. Once at the site, its the usual noggin and natter as one does at the rallies, (wet canteen provided) some games thrown in for good measure, the venue is sure to please, and you get a meal thrown in as well as a rally badge. ($35-00) It is a small affair but proving to be very popular with those that have attended and by the feedback will continue to grow. The club would appreciate if you are intending to attend, please enter by the closing date as catering has to be allowed for. (12th Sept.) In the meantime, if you want an entry form email me your address and I will send one to you. mdjones@ihug.co.nz Last years entrants will be receiving theirs shortly.

 not sure on how this operates, new to the site, trying to reply to the enquiries and I have ended up duplicating the reply.

Hi Guys and Gals,
:wari:Just a remainder - The globetrotter challenge is on in a couple of weeks. This is slightly different to the norm but lots of fun. Entries close today but if you let me know within the next couple of days if you are considering attending, I can make provision for that. (we provide a meal as part of the package, so hence knowing who's coming is important)
Its a smaller event, but a lot of fun and an enjoyable ride.
