We now have the first confirmed cases in London as per the attached picture.
Symptoms include:
- Saying "Ello ello ello, what's all this then?" a lot
- Skin turns high visibility yellow
- large blunt stick grows out of right hand
- Chequred ring grows around the forehead
- Victim starts to stand around trying to look busy with their hand behind their backs
- annoying habit of standing up in front of the terraces when you are trying to watch football
- Start hitting Jamaican people over the head a lot
If you notice any of these symptoms, report to New Scotland Yard in London and tell the bloke behind the desk that I sent you..
Keep 'em peeled guys...:shit:

This poor 14 year old kid and his mother got off the plane from Mexico this morning. He had flu like symptoms for the past 48 hours. At the airport waiting for him was a camera crew and reporter.......... if he and his mother were concerned before, they must be absolutely terrified now!!!!! after having a bloody camera shoved in his face in the arrivals lounge.

So bird flu is out now and Swine is in? I'm still waiting for the world to end!!
The only reason why these epidemics were developed is to keep people buying medications and living in fear. There has been cures discovered for a couple life taking illnesses and that the research was stopped soon after. The only reason I can think of why these cures were not available on prescription or to educate the public is because if it fixed people there would be no need for further on going treatment. As of current one of the illnesses requires frequent medication for life, this funds for employment and profit.
People who live in fear of these so called scary outbreaks of flu etc are only fueling the drug companies. I'll wait till people turn to zombies or something before I will worry about such utter crap.

Being a nurse and having gone through the period of SARS epidemic here in Toronto, I can thoroughly tell you that this is a real concern and should be taken seriously. It is scary for the public, but being a health care worker especially in the Emergency department, it is a freakin nightmare!!! And scary as hell!! Anyone that even coughs in the hospital as of last week, we are to screen all of our patients and even the staff that have been to mexico in the last two week period are potential carrierss they are all very thoroughly and questioned!!
They have been on alert of a pandemic for some time now in the medical field, they were expecting it and now it has arrived!
WASH YOUR HANDS PEOPLE...after everything!!! I cannot stress it enough! Like the flu this is an airborne virus...This virus stays alive on everything!! Make sure your kids wash their hands...it all comes down to awareness and education of the public!
Hopefully they will be able to contain it and it will disappear like SARS did...I dread having to work in those conditions again! I pray it does not come to that! It was HELL!

Well, I have a bad habit of ignoring anything that carries the scent of conspiracy theory. You know that sickeningly sweet reek that combines pessimistic wonder coupled with an utterly misunderstood notion of skepticism.
