Has anyone noticed that all the crap started when this website forum started?
Roadracing would improve if this website did not exist.
What the hell have we become?
Are we de-evolving into whinging Poms?

Or perhaps the real cause could be people constantly looking for someone or something to blame. So short answer - YES.

Why's that mate? Because there would be no public arena for people to voice their concerns? Suppose you think women shouldn't be allowed to vote either....
Or perhaps, just perhaps, NZ Road racing has been slowly declining over the years and all of a sudden, it's at critical mass, we need to do something urgently?
9 bikes on the grid at most in our premier class this season. Still no problem? It aint the websites fault.
Rules changed hurredly as a knee jerk reaction and without proper consultation of the members it affects. Seems rational, better blame that on KB too?
In the past five years KB has recruited a quite simply staggering number of volunteers, a lot of whom now hold very influential positions within race committees at various clubs.
This very website (I believe) is very much a part of why the VMCC Actrix series is the most subscribed to race series in the country. Is there at all the possibility this is caused by the fact that VMCC embrace the oppinions of KB posters and take what's said on board, rather than dismissing them as wingers?
KB enjoys contributions from some of the countries most well known and expert oppinions within the sport, a number of them road racing champions. I wont embarass them by naming names but they are pretty easy to spot.
I suggest you pull your head out of the sand, read the concerns people are voicing publicly and see if they're not real concerns.
Cheers
Jimmy

There is no substitute for good old communication - this site is a brilliant forum and in no way has had any detrimental effect to racing in NZ.
But you gotta admitt - Society here in NZ, is at times, a real whinge fest. And Kber is no exception. It just shows how important and personal these sports are to all of us.

easier to blame others than yourself

Nice guys, yip no harm done here when kept in perspective... I unlike the auther of this thread believe if ya dont kick up a storm then nothing will change and at least you can be happy with the fact you at least tryed, unlike those that do winge yet do nothing to help.
The forum is a GOOD thing and the good KB has done by far out weighs the bad.

I can confirm he is most definitely NOT an MNZ official,Thats just his point of view and hes entitled too it.While I dont agree with 1 word he said hes still entitled too an opinion and it is a public forumHes been on the race scene for over 10 years at the pinnacle of the superbike class and thats just how a lot of those guys view this forum.

More than happy to referee.
However, are there any more takers, because lunch is usually a half hour and it shouldn't take Shaun more than 5 minutes to sort Boomer, I've seen him in action.

We need a STUMP RACE ! It's an old cricket club thing
Drink heavily for an hour, then head out n race. You have to scull a pint, sprint to a cricket stump 40 mtrs away, stick your head on it and then go around the stump 10 times with your head still on the stump. After that you try (not easy ! ) to run back to where you started. Imagine the carnage !
Sorts the men from the boys :eek5:
reminds me why i stopped playing really . . . . . . . .

There is no substitute for good old communication Correct, communication is the key.
But you gotta admitt - Society here in NZ, is at times, a real whinge fest. And Kber is no exception. Correct again, the way some people have gone about this does cast a bit of a shadow on the sport.

You're thinking of football - they need a fckn crowbar to separate the men from the boys !

Always makes me chuckle when I hear the term 'whinging Pom' in NZ because Kiwi's seem to moan far more than any Pom I know....... especially when it comes to racing and forums......:Pokey:
For the record 'Pom' is reserved for the English so I'm exempt......

The only time I visited the North was for racing at Ty-Croes or to watch Cardiff play Wrexham when they had a football league team and we (Cardiff) were in the lower divisions.
Abredare is a wild old place.....lol
Had a few nights out up there years ago and worked in Rhymney and Bargoed for a while... great part of the world and full of women who are well, lets just say, easy fun......
