A free event! I have ridden two of their events and can rate them first class!
Id be going but am heading to Gisborne for the weekend. Generally a bit more freedom and fun than your average 'trailride'.
There is a pony express and trail ride to be held at Fish's property. This is a social, non-competitive event. We are trying to foster a bit of club spirit, ie. getting families and friends involved, the emphasis being on a more social event.
We think the track will be approx 25mins per lap. We are looking at two man teams, which will be made up on the day of one A grade rider and one B grade rider. Looking at two laps per rider, which will make the duration about two hours.
After that we will have a free BBQ and a trail ride.
We need some people to help throw rocks off the track on Saturday afternoon, please contact Tim, 0274 511 427 or 383 5801. If we get enough people there will be time for a ride afterwards...and a beer.
Directions: Turn left just after the bridge entering Masterton. Take the heavy vehicle bypass around Masterton. Left at the first roundabout at petrol station. Will be arrowed from there. Allow 1.5 hrs from Wgtn.
Sign on 9am. Riders briefing and practise lap, 10am. Race to start straight afterwards.
Don't be late as we want to get this over quickly and do some trail riding.
