HRCNZ (Honda Riders Club NZ) are organising these rides as a fill in to the JBM being canceled, all KBers are welcome to join in, there will be a few down from the North Is.
19th March 2005: Stop in at the Britten Display & Retail Outlet in the heart of Christchurch before heading to the beautiful town of Akaroa on the Banks Peninsula for Lunch. Stepped in history come and enjoy this beautiful spot.
Depart from the Russley at 9:30

Now I'm keen for both days weather dependent so who else is?
ps: Friday the 18th is a mulity hire day at Runapuna (means that there could be cars there aswell) I'm planning on being there for a wee play after lunch as will a few other KBers its cost is about $50 usual riding gear is needed, no other mods needed to your bike tho, note it isent a race.... just a race track :niceone: so come out and get the feel for it.

Sounds like fun, but may only be there if this damn yellow car magnet has been removed from the tail end of my bike :ride:
LOL at turning up to a track with the 'ol L plate on :D
Although on a more cheerful note the Goveners Bay ride on Saturday removed most of my chicken strips, less than 10mm to go :2thumbsup
Do these Runapuna track days come up often? Are they usually on a week day?

Ask Kickaha that one.... but I think most Tuesdays and Fridays, open to anyone and anything, that needs a tune up/pratice/hiding. A organised track day is held on a w/e day twice a year by the m/c racing club for the same price, good value for a play around.

The track days are every friday and tuesday. Costs $50 for half a day and you have to have a spotter with you incase something happens. I went out one day last year and had the whole track to myself for about 2 hours. Pretty sweet.
I'll be out there on friday arvo. Might go on the ride on sat aswell.

Thanks Dangerous, k14, might check out my insurance policy and take a day off work once the L plate goes.
