This is for a 2006 GN250E.
I have a trademe auction running. The best i could locate through google was it was Suzuki used the "E" model if it had additional "luxury items" such as electric start or mag wheels. So that would make the non "E" potentially the spoke model.
I wonder if all GN250's during the recent years were GN250E's or whether there was in fact a GN250 and GN250E amd what was the difference.
If you can enlighten me so I can enlighten the question asking eprson that would be coll.
Cheers.

I think they were selling both at one point.

They're all Electric start, it might designate the chinese models which were the ones with alloy wheels instead of spoked

I wonder what the GN stands for "Grand" N.....
And now back to topic. in 2006 was there an E and "not E"?

Nope me thinks. I can see the "GN250E" from around 1988.

Googled from website the following......GN250E (NJ41A) has been manufactured since 1982. In the late 1970's and early 1980's Suzuki used to put an ”E” in the end of their model names when the model got an electric starter, cast wheels and that kind of luxury items. The GN250 without the ”E” has wire wheels

Yup 04 was electric, chinese, crappy wheels, and rusted like fuck! I thought it was so cool being my first bike. Of course i soon learnt.
A friend of mine got a k8 GSXR600 today, first bike ever. Personally im ecstatic, i got a ride AND i got first bids on parts when he stacks

Whereabouts? Bikebandit suggests the 88 is the J model, which keeps with Suzuki's theme of letters & years from that time, D is 83, F is 85
The mystery deepens!

Yep, had the Original model till i broke it down for parts at the start of the yar, though i reckon you're spot on with the 400 :niceone:
