Ski/snowboard forums?

Does anyone know of a good forum for getting info on getting into snowsports?

Ideally looking for something similar to KB but for snow, the NZ forums I have seen are pretty dreary with one thread per month etc.

ideally looking for somewhere I can organise car(van)-pooling to Whakapapa/Turoa and that has knowledge of the local runs

have you looked at the snow.co.nz forums? They are a bit ancient, sure, but they have a bit of traffic during winter, lots of people looking for carpooling.

There was also snowpool.org.nz but that seems to be blank at the moment?

Yeah doubt anyone organises that stuff online here. Could be worth making a thread on here even I guess if you're looking for rides.

I'll be getting down when I can this season, should be there for the first week of July. Do you already ski/board or just wanna start up?
