I am just trying to find out what year the current model of Yamaha Jog started?

Also trying to find out if exhaust mounts and where exhaust bolts to head is the same on current models versus say 2004 or earlier?

The reason I ask is I am trying my very best to get hold of a reverse pipe exhaust system for it. I've been waiting for nearly a week for Yamaha NZ to give confirmation about whether '04 and '08 would match, and TBH I do not expect a reply, so I need to find out some other way.

Scootling seem to be the only people in NZ who I am aware of who carry one model, however its are not what I want, so thats reserved as last option.

Does anyone know of a someone who sells them, and brand, anywhere in NZ?

The engine in Jogs is a minareli based engine, minareli being part of the Yamaha group of companys the engines are in many different brands of scooters and are cloned in Taiwan by companies like Adly.
The mounting points are the same year to year its just the body work that can fowl the exhaust.
Its interesting that the only difference between crankcase castings is if you have a disk or drum fitted in the rear wheel, the water cooled cylinder version and air cooled cylinder version are interchangeable and can be converted from one to another.
Scootling can import parts from SIP in Germany, and they have carbs and racing cdi's in the shop, I have found they have more bits in the shop than what's listed on their web pages.
The scootling variater with lighter weights and slightly heavier clutch springs made a hell of a difference to mine, it spins off the dial even with the restricted cdi with only slightly less take-off.
