The paso rides real well!! Was a bit dodgy at first so I checked the tyre pressures....no surprise....14PSI in each! No wonder it was wobbly in the corners!! I tell ya what...I'm liking the twin!

Well went to get this tag because I haven't gotten one in ages and I thought I'd better get it before one of the coasties came down and stole it.
Being a beautiful moonlit night I thought there would be enough light to take a decent pic if I set the camera with the lens open for a couple of seconds.
Got to the spot and started experimenting a little with settings.
Nowhere to put the camera on to get a pic. Not even a convenient rubbish bin. After trying just three pics the batteries in the camera died.:angry2:
Got one pic which is quite dark (taken on my phone after the camera died), one where I put the camera on the ground and one where I tried holding it as still as possible with the lens open.
None of them really clear.
So, what to do?
Can I claim it?
Decision is Stoney's I guess.

I left home at 5:15am, to gas up before a 5:30am meeting with Devo and Sketchy snr for the very cold ride in to town, original plan was to go after Stoney's post from last night but Cloggy beat us to the punch, fortunately his new location was within line of site of where I work, which was perfect for the upload and a coffee before the race back to the coast.

Even then i couldnt quite prove it with street view - we had to Roll based on my 90% certain guess. a little bit of trivia for the substation one.In satelite view of google maps I traced a line of high voltage lines from haywards up towards waikanae....you can see the pylons and sometimes the wires themselves!.I gae uo when i couldnt replicate the view and realised the pylon was a different shape.
That was no good.So then i tried a web search for Substation near Paraparaumu,and came up with some dry old document where"Paraparaumu Substation is fed from Takapau Road"(Dont forget I dont know where the substation is)
So i then traced the pylons and wires from Takapau to Valley Road and then could see the substation in satelite view on google maps.Then street view showed devos shot almost exactly.I was sure snr would beat me to it but i was keen to get out on the bike.It was the only tag from the weekend i could actually find.
So there is some trivia for ya,when you turn on the lights tonight in Paraparaumu,you know the flow of electrons comes via Takapau Road!
