You get that.
I bought some amber indicator bulbs from a vendor on TardMe. He sent clear ones, and it took ages to get replacements because he didn't have any in stock, despite listing them for sale!
It's not called TardMe for nothing, y'know...

Are there different kinds of motorbicycle indicator lightbulbs? They're the small orange kind, right? With the circular socket?
What is BA9s etc?
Should be simple unless your indicators are LEDs, right?

You'retotally right. Those are just retarded questions. I got a lot of those retarded questions too when I was selling my bikes/cars.

The number of jokers on trademe are just unbelievable. I sympathise with you Morcs.

Are there different kinds of motorbicycle indicator lightbulbs?
Yes, there are. I've currently got small amber ones with bayonet fittings (which are not easy to get hold of) in my clear flushmount confiminators. The standard ones are 21W, clear, wedge types, and larger, as the OEM indicators are bigger. There are also some that are amber but silvered so when they're not illuminated, they look clear or silvery.
There are other kinds too: various sizes of wedge, bayonet, festoon, etc in various wattages, and in both incandescent and LED.

Exactly. And my SRX is a bitch to find indicators for - running like a 5amp battery and simple wiring, to get the indicators to flash requires exactly 21w, in a ba9s. 23w get too hot, melt the lenses and barely flash, whearas a 5w just burns out. having real trouble finding bulbs anywhere.

I was asking the guy the questions in the hope that they may be a decent looking indicator that has a more common bulb socket - so easier to find bulbs. ah well.

Have you considered using one of those electronic flasher units. About $20 from Supercheap or Repco. They flash at the right rate regardless of bulb wattage. I have the same problem with the older two strokes, and an electronic flasher sorts it out quick and simple. Pretty much a straight replacement electrically, y' may need to twiddle mountings a bit.

Try a tridon flasher unit, more expensive but always do the job

To be retarded you would have to been tarded to starters but then lost it somehow. Then some friendly soul can tard you again to make you retarded. Maybe using a brush or one of those handy-tardy spray bombs that many of the current retards tend to use on their neighbours walls.

Or perhaps you are able to buy tard somewhere. Maybe even on TardMe? Then you can tard your self and stay tarded so you never have to become retarded.

Or perhaps you could use one of those indicator flasher units to turn the tardness on and off. You would then do the tard on-off-on-off infinitum. Or until you got tired of the tardness and traded it for something more useful. Like a pumpkin. But then if you lost the pumpkin you would become pumpkinless and you would have to get another one to be repumpkined. ( I have heard that this can sometimes happen automatically at midnight!) And watch out so you dont get short changed and end up with a artichoke. That could hurt if you were to reartichoke your self!
