I had one in my own street that was morally unjust. Can I get that callibrated?

Yes, a sledgehammer should calibrate it nicely ;-)

I've nearly had a couple - if it wasn't for someone in front of me slowing down for no apparent reason, I definitely would've got one or two.

Sigh, I really should be more careful...but the time I next get on the bike again I seem to have banished that particular memory

Quick, rush out and buy a large flat sided bike. I heard that they have decided to let the fines stand, eminently unfair but they need the money.

And I think the more reflective (shiny) the better to bounce the signal..:devil2:

That's the attitude! When was the last time someone actually took direct action, stopped, got off their bike and took to a speed camera with a sledgehammer? Never, I'll bet. OK, even a claw hammer, sledgehammers are a touch bulky, but seriously, why don't we just knock the fuckers into next week?

Brother in law (doesnt know the speed limit i think) got three in 13 mins.

No joke!

Cost him about $500 all the same camera.
If my sister hadnt forgotten her bloody handbag it woulda been one less.

Some people just need to slow down....for speed camera's

Radar has always suffered from "refraction" ie large vehicles nearby ,large billboards, metal rails and just about anything else that reflects a signal will bounce signals off you to another vehicle back to you and then to the radar. what kind of reading do the cozzers get then i wonder. Do they make allowances for this scenario? No! They use their so called discretion to assume that it`s the alledged target speeding and issue the ticket. Ever tried to get off a ticket? damn hard! Back in the late seventies, two wheels mag had an article on this subject with a test case which was won by a motorcyclist putting forward the argument of radar refraction. So next time you think, "could`ve sworn i wasn`t speeding". Add this to the long list of variables that give false readings and go get yourself a jammer. Dunno bout lazers though lol. : ) Gimmie some of that "stealth" fighter paint someone.
