Not quite a new bike model... but HOLY WHEELIES BATMAN!!!:

Big CC Racing, a British tuning company has unleashed the fury on a 2007 Suzuki GSX-R1000 with a kit of their own design that boosts the bike’s power to anywhere between 250hp to 450hp. The result? Wheelies in any gear. :woohoo:

Looks alot like the one Stroudy had at Taupo a while back. Sounded wicked and looked fast as until it lowsided into turn2 then demolished itself when the crash bung dug into the grass.

bolt-on turbo kits for gixxers/zzrs are available over the net for between US$4000 for 250hp, up to US$10k for 500hp. There is a great article about a turbo gixxer 1100 somewhere in the depths of KB - a reliable 250hp daily ride.

You'd need a friendly tyre guy......

I'm pretty sure Whitetrash did a wheelie as he closed the throttle on 250hp GSXR1000K4. Had it spinning in 4th gear (?), when he backed off it got some grip and lifted the front.

150hp at the wheel on my K3 was more than enough for me.

Yeah mate. That was when it ONLY had 221 at the rear wheel too.

When Stroudy crashed it, she was knocking on 250hp at the wrap. Quite simply, the most mental fucking thing I have ever been allowed anywhere near.

I've ridden a 180hp turbo FXDX too, that was a larf and a half as the chasis didn't have a shit show of staying true when you opened the throttle.

Ahhhh, good times.

That'll generate what.... 4-50 hp at idle? Taking off at the lights would be exciting!

hmmmm..yawn. pffft, ho-hum. wheelies on demand are fairly standard on a stock gixxer...................but at 300k? :shit::shit::shit:

Amazing...

what I'd like to see is Suzuki (of some other factory) make 150BHP from 500cc with 140kg weight using a turbo.... there's so much potenial...

Holy mother of God. :gob:

What sort of top speeds could you expect to hit on one of those??

Passing cars would never be a problem ever again.... insurance may be a bit tricky though....

Yes indeedy... the only bike to do backflips when you simply let the clutch out in first gear....

It'd sure teach you a lot as a learners bike... such as how many spare pairs of undies you could keep under the seat...

The one I rode that Blair built and Nicko now owns (I think he still does) followed the original stock GSXR power curve perfectly on the dyno. Except it carried 70hp more everywhere.

Absolutely frickn stupid I tell ya.

True that.

What I was actually meaning though, is getting the thing insured in the first place, and the monthly premiums may be a leeetle bit high....

I can't imagine any sane insurance company will be too thrilled about insuring a 1000cc tubocharged 450hp superbike :)

Its all well and ok having lots of HP but after riding a few late model 1000cc's sportsbike I would rather spend money on suspension first ,then maybe brakes , then worry about engine last , a good bike is a sum of good parts not just one good part

who say it was too much power , I just rather do other stuff first and have a bike thats a good package than a bike thats just good in one area.
Also I see you are listed your bike as quadzilla , are you the guy with that hayabusa powered quad , if this you please post pics and details

Interesting looking back on this thread.

I rode a stock K7 the other day, and it was a ballistic missile on 2 wheels. 180hp was quite enough for that bike.

So, what on earth are you supposed to do with another 270hp on top of that? How could you even control something with that much power? A slight over revving in first gear or anything, and you'd most likely do a backflip :eek5:

I dunno how that ghostrider dude does it on the turbo 'Busa. Kudos to him for owning something as ridiculous as that and still being among the living.

As with anything after awhile you get use to the power & think this feels slow so the mods continue till you get that rush of power that scares you again & the whole cycle begins again , It never ends :headbang:

You could of course put an extended swingarm on the back and have it spin up instead of wheelie. Seen a video of a guy on a Turbo'd 07 ZX10R with a 12inch extended swingarm - doing 300kmh (off the clock) with the rear spinning up.

You do realise this is nothing new, not saying its not insainely impressive but a 450hp turbo 1000 is old news....
Guys in the states are making 650hp+ on stock capacity busas.... street leagal too.

Theres a vid on youtube of a turbo busa running on the street, street tyres lights plate etc then at the track, ends up running 7.8**sec @185 odd mph (300kmh) in the 1/4 mile...... and thats somewhere around 400hp atw.

Search up: 'dani's hayabusa' if you want to see it.

25th April 2010, 10:56
the boost would be a gradual increase to gear selected and ground speed , you would not have 450 hp in first gear at 10. k the bike would be rideable.
you can never have enough hp .
