Hey Ladies and those metrosexual men
Has any of the Biker Angels has IPL permanent laser hair removal done? If so are the outcomes good? Just thinking the outcomes might be a lot less painful and better aesthetically than waxing? Any comments????

Its only what you would accurately call "removal" in the short term. It's about four-ish treatments over six months to get totally lick-it smooth skin, then it requires regular six monthly zappings to keep it that way. If you don't treat it at all after that, within a year it resorts to "thin mousey tan almost-fur/fluff" which is still a HELL of a lot better than thick bushy beaver.
The outcome is a LOT better than waxing. Waxing, shaving, and chemical hair removal rapidly gets prickley as hell. Laser takes your skin back to lick-it smooth, like skin should be. Even if you only get the treatment done and never laser it again, the difference is night and day.
Yes, it is a lot less painful, but still not without the ouchyness. The laser is like being zapped HARD by a fat rubber band, and it gets too much after a few minutes, when you will be putting your hand up for a rest.
Do it, it's awesome and you will love it. Worth every cent. :msn-wink:

So what's wrong with thick bushy beaver then...?

I'm having permanent hair removal done. It's a testosterone-linked X chromosome treatment that I, like many man in similar circumstances, inherited from my mother.

good question billie.
Haven't tried any laser treatment. But I Brazilian/French wax & luckily I don't have much body hair to start with & it always grows back soft & less of.
Always worried about 'scaring' from laser work, especially in some places.
Do providers require any liciencing?

I'm not too sure. I should ask.

ive been wondering about this myself. i get, as a side effect of depo, a single hair on my chin. its really hard and scratchy, like male facial hair. end result is i end up with a red patch due to picking at the hair and surrounding skin to try and remove it. looks horrible, and its bloody annoying. id love to get it zapped so it doesnt come back ever.

Let's make that 'scarring' which is 'scaring' too. Haha! my original
Yeah, I sometimes get a little 'goose bumping' from waxing. There's supposed to be products to help ease this.
Any suggestions guys :sherlock:

God this better be worth it ha :doh:Hehe they have the machine turned up heaps.. LOL. You can ask the operator to turn the machine down a bit, but you know you don't want to. Or just ask them for a break when it gets too zappy.
Now over the next few weeks watch the magic start to happen.. :first:

Anyone other than me wondering how DB seems to be the reservoir of all knowledge in the known Universe, including feminine beauty treatments?

Skinfood after-shave balm, or any of their products help - or products with out paraben.
I nice smooth massage with a balm should reduce any irritation from shaving, you may still get the goose bumps depending on who you ask to do the massaging for you.

I don't think it bears knowing why DB seems to be well informed on such a feminine subject unless of course he is a she and actually has boobs
