GIVE ME A BREAK 10 DAYS IN A POLICE CELL FOR HOLDING UP A DAIRY, GOOD LUCK I SAY,THE LITTLE SHIT GOT OFF A BIT LIGHT IF ANYTHING.
NOW THERES A JUDGE WADING IN SAYING THE 10 DAY STAY IS NOT ACCEPTABLE , WHATS WRONG WITH JUDGES?
WHEN I WAS YOUNGER COPS WOULD GIVE YOU A THICK EAR FOR KNICKING MILK MONEY OR SUCH AND I BELEIVE IT KEPT SOME OF THE LOCAL HOONS FROM GOING TO JAIL AS ADULTS .

Yeah saw that aswell.

Started feeling a bit sorry for him, but then i thought why not. He robbed a diary and deserves it. Don't have any problem at all with stuff like that if it puts him straight. I'm sure it would be worse if he had to go to proper jail. He complained that he only had 1 shower in teh 10 days. I bet he wouldn't have complained if he was in real prison and they didn't let him have a shower.

30 days and 12 lashes. That'd teach the shit. I'm firmly of the opinion that they should come down on him like a sack of shit. Especially for the young crims. Leave them with bad memories and maybe they'll think twice next time.

oh no, he's a victim of a society that has alienated him, probably disrespected his culture, and denied him his customary rights to obtain for free the shit that you and I work f****** hard for.

Just think, once CYF have gotten him thru his juvenile years, the police corrections and justice will take him thru his adult years, with a sprinkling of WINZ in between incarcerations... and a nice Housing NZ sponsored retirement (with WINZ picking up the cost of cigarettes dope and booze).

Ahh, the NZ benefit culture, makes a humble taxpayer like me proud.

Otherwise its just going to promote the behaviour. Really some judges have no farking clue, do they?

Put him in the general prison population and let him take a shower, he won't be back. Ever.

At least it was 10 days that the community didn't have to suffer his prescence. 10 days that he wasn't out committing burglaries and stealing cars, good job I say.

Commit crime expect some discomfort, I say.
So, he only robbed a Dairy, but small crime can often lead to bigger crime. Hopefully it acts as a deterrent and that's the end of it.

he would have been better of do like 150 hrs of hard community service, least hes doin somthing, rather than sittin on a bed in his jail sell

Try telling that to the dairy owner - no such thing as a 'small robbery'
