Anyone got anything?

I know Choppa qualified second or third or something. Won the first race.

And it's raining.

Anything else?

Fuck, looks like Biggles08 is starting to make his mark, a 4th and 5th in F2 and giving the hurry up to the thous in F1.
That's a pretty fine accomplishment for a victim of anal rape by a towbar...:chase:

hahaha he is never gonna live that down! He would have been 3rd in race 1 if the race had not been red flagged...

oh I just use it in my race...I pretend there is a car going in reverse right behind me....makes me go faster! hehe

As for the 'would have been 3rd..." don't get me started...I was gutted that a guy lying on the side of the track crashed, could still manage a 2nd in the race gaining points when he never finished it...

Don't get me wrong, I'm not annoyed at Brian wood (and I hope he is all right) at all... but the rule that states the previous lap is the results in a red flagged situation should not be INCLUDING the rider that caused the red flag because they crashed out...surely a fair result should be that rider is a DNF and the rest of the field goes back to the previous lap positions....I was stoked when I came into the pits as I thought I had got a 3rd....nope....still 4th!

oh well....4th is good :niceone:

Believe me I was as somewhat amazed when my hospital visitors said I'd still finished 2nd. This morning in a Taupo cafe I've even said to a VMCC official that it didn't seem right to award me 2nd but thats the rule apparently and its exists world wide. Still seems wrong to me.

The rule does suck - but after all the bad luck this sport dishes out no way should you feel guilty when you get a bit of good luck!

Been the rule for a long time the world over in many different forms of motorsport. Just the way it is.

Apparently not toot toot...quoted from k14 in another thread here
(http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?p=1129216497#post1129216497)
"In auzzie and some other countries the red flag causer is excluded from the results. Personally I cannot see why this rule couldn't be bought in to NZ racing. The other thing is that this actively encourages a rider to "play dead" when he/she has a minor off so that the red flag is pulled out and they get points which is very unfair imo. Someone should not be rewarded for crashing!"

I have to say I agree with him...it seems a natural, fair outcome (and I would still say the same if it was me that crashed and caused the red flag).
