1.5 mls Cointreau
30 mls fresh lemon juce
dash sugar syrup
Shake all ingrediants with uce and strain into chilled coctail glass
Garnish with burnt orange peel

Cuba Libre
60 mls Rum
60 ml Cola
4 lime wedges
Pour rum over Ice in a highboy glass
Squeeze in the lime wedges

Daiquiri
45 ml Rum
20 ml sugar syrup
30 ml fresh lime juice
Shake ingrediants with ice and strain into a small coctail glass

Mojite
60 ml Rum
20ml fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon castor sugar
2 sprigs mint
Muddle 1 sprig of mint with the castor sugar in the bottom of a tall glass
Add the rest of the ingrediants and stir with ice. Garnish with a sprig of mint.

It doesn't matter how big it is, you just need to find the place where they have what you want in the size that you need. The one on Ferrymead is quite big... Went browsing, but nothing immediately drew my attention...

Try the clothing warehouse on Shands Rd in Hornby.
About an Acre of clothing of all sorts.
Ithink that the opp shop idea was really fro those girls who didnt have dresses that would do for the occasion.
An evening dress for a coctail party can cost as much as a set of leathers, so finding a really stilish dress at an opp shop is a great idea for the girls.
As for the guys, a black suit coat, button shirt and tie with good casual pants and dress shoes id the go, bad taste is to arrive in jeans or cammo gear.
Dark colours are for winter, light colours for summer.
The tie is a must for the men, and cannot be removed for the entrie event ( unless they are weylaid by a sexy waitress, then we dont want too much information)
Dress shoes like hush puppies, not boots or sports shoes no matter how flash or exspensive they are.
As for the shirt colour, look at what colours are in for mens fashions at the moment and try to match a tie to that.
Be glad its not a "Black tie" party because that would mean "tails"
or a "white tie" party for that would mean white shirt and tie, black vest and pants and patient leather shoes!

Any body can add to this it they have other ideas,

if not I'll be in my pinstripes

Man that was an epic party Helen. Was great to catch up with everyone. Both myself and Sexy Lexy had a great time.

Shouldnt have gone into town last night though. Was feeling good before I got there and then things caught up with us really quickly as Dave might be able to attest to. Went home pretty quickly.

Anyway great night, great people... the booze was interesting, the food was YUMMY (Whoever bought the crayfish is my HERO!)
Music was great (DJ was good too, if i do say so myself, actually me and the Buelldude made a good combo) ... and I was not the one who kept bumping the stereo and turning it off, but I was the one who tried to figure out how to turn it all back on again, several times! :lol:

The entertainment was brilliant, Steve! OMG Ghostie we had our finger on the phone for the fire department just in case.

Lets do it all again next week!
On 2nd thoughts I dont think I can waste the whole weekend on preparation and recovery anytime soon. 2am is not a good time to be hugging the toilet bowl :whistle: when you are meant to be feeding a baby in a couple of hours.

Just finished showing Mrs Bullet the pics, and she is sad she could not make it seeing it all....

I took some pics of the fire blowing, but real hard to get the exposure right,

Then there was the exposure:dodge:... it was real hard not to be intrusive and to get this close up of one such exposure...

Was a great night everyone!!

Its the guests that make a party & you guys are an awesome bunch,and it really is a pleasure having you round for a leer up!!:2thumbsup

There was delicious food(lots of plates to distribute to the right owners),some yummy & some dubious shots & cocktails,Mikkels potent nighttrain,and Steve!!that was great!!

Rum girl was a whizz in the kitchen,with help from Steve & Em....

There were tequilla shots on the bikes....:banana:

Shrek & Mrs Shrek helped with the tidy up in the morning....thanks guys!:hug:

Lol!!sounds like it mite have been a VERY quiet day for some today......:sick:
