I had a somewhat painful 2 crash day at the VMCC that ended in hospital...

The first crash left me in a lot of pain as i damaged my lower back and the next one did me no favours at all as it gave me a good overall kicking and knocked me out for 10 minutes.....not good:doctor:

I just want to say thanks very much to the medical staff at the track and Taupo hospital for taking very good care of me throughout the incident.

I'm out of hospital tonight but very very secondhand unfortunately.

I also feel very grateful to the many people who came to our garage after I'd gone to hopsital asking how I was and passing on good luck messages..... cheers to you all!!!!:niceone:

Last but not least thanks John Hanna and Russ Rutan for packing my kit up and collecting me from the hopsital.

Feeling very sore today after a an uncomfortable night.

While I've badly bashed my left elbow and knee plus a badly strained shoulder, back and neck I have an unexpected injury in the shape of a shiner of a black eye?

Never had a black eye after crashing a bike before and wondering how the hell that happened?

Probably one of the streetstock opr 125 riders waiting while the ambulance took you away got angry run over and gave you a smack in the eye while you were out cold:bleh:

Was seemingly quite bad but 'i know nothing'........

Being out cold for 10-15 minutes is not good but I'll be back, 'I think'....

Hey Brian,

Glad you are alright, it certainly was not a cool sight coming past seeing what looked like a lifeless body laying on the track!! Hope all the bumps and bruises heal up quick and hope to see you on the track real soon.

Cheers,

No worries, mate.

Now...let's focus on May 31st. There's a race to be run and championship points to be won. So, get a bag of cement & a spoon and chow-down...'cause it's time to harden-the-fuq-up. ;-)
