250 two-stroke guys. QUESTION!

Hey folks,

Just about to do a change of chain and sprokets for the first time on my CR250. I'm wanting to know what sprokets everyone else is using (especially the other CR riders). Its a 2005 and I do both MX and trails but the trails are usually the faster ones.

I got standard set up, but next time I'll drop 2 teeth on the back as its too low geared. Booom runs 2 teeth less and I had a go on his and found it fine.

on my old cr i had a 13 on the front and a 52 on the back.

iv got 14/50. seems allright

My Cr250 was running 14 front and standard on the rear which was a 50 I think??? The 14 front sprocket from what I was told is a fairly standard change. Still lifted the front as and when required but made it much better in the woods and mud!
