headlights, mirrors, indicators, and a rego?
It's already got headlight and tail light, so yeah would need indicators, mirrors, possibly horn, a key/kill switch??
I was more wondering though is it possible to get a VIN for it?? Or is it classed as an "off road vehicle only"
You may find it cheaper to sell it and buy something already road legal. Headlight will have to change for hi/lo beam, rear light will need to be changed for light/brake light, need rear mounts for plate/lights, would be quite a long lists of, needs.........

Only need low beam.
My son road legalised his Yammie (not sure of model - enduro 450). Was quoted (estimated) $1700 as it included a whole new loom. Paid $2400 and highly pissed off, still had to do some work himself as the charging circuit was screwed in the process.

As Cary has said, theres a lot of hurdles to jump to try and legalise a off road designated only bike..
Best bet is to sell and buy something else if thats what you really want..

I don't think you could get it vined, unless a low volume inspector looked it over, and then he was not privvy to all of the build process?
I too have considered doing a 'jerry rigged' road legal(ish) conversion to my wonderful lil kdx, its an 06 and wouldn't clear 3500 if I sold it.....a long way short of a yammie 250 supertrail!!
So, I priced all I needed to do the job, mostly from DRC @ dirtrider I thimk, anyway, it came in at about $700 for a fairly convincing job.
I was then going to do EITHER-
# rego it as e-plate classB, ( Ag, no wof needed)....OR
# 'borrow' the complete plate/rego/wof assy off 1 of my other bikes when I needed it!
Even with fines included, it is WAY cheaper than the $9k to get the yammie!

You will not be able to unless you can get a declaration from Kawasaki NZ that the bike complies to the current lighting and brake regulations.
This means that if any of the KDX200`s were complied for road use you would need exactly the same complied lights and brakes.
If none of these models were road legal you will have no chance.
Easier to sell it and buy something that is already registered
