I am happy to recommend "Te Waipounamu MC Rentals' in CHCH and Auckland.

I have had three experiences with them (ST1300). All great.

Waikato Rentals surprised me that amongst their minibusses and light trucks they have budget bike rental. about 5 bikes -mostly adventure bikes.

Get a mortgage. $200/hr Hookers are cheaper than bike rentals in NZ. Seriously, they are better off buying on arrival and selling before they leave.

Yes, a colleague visiting from the USA a year ago rented a bike from this company based in Auckland. He picked up his bike from Crummer Road in Grey Lynn however I guess they have since then moved out to Onehunga. They seemed very helpful:

Do they take offers on the $200 depending on how busy they are?

When is their slackest time :)
