Heard the guys on Hauraki today talking about Alice Cooper playing in Auckland in September I think it is. That would be an interesting show!

Yeah of the 6 bands that where at rock2wgtn he would be only one i would go to a concert specifically for.
Not a huge Alice fan, but he knows how to do a show for the crowd. instead of just standing on a stage singing
4 of the other ones i would never see again.

Yeah that's what I like about him, like you I'm not a massive fan, but I find there's something really facinating about him and all the clips of his live performances have looked wicked!!!
I've been an Alice Cooper fan from the beginning....Killer was one of the first albums I ever bought in 1970.Just love the sense of humour, and sense of drama.

 that album was a strong feature throughout my childhood...all albums were vinyl too!
Dad was a huge fan and I too appreciated the drama of his music and dark humour in his lyrics :2thumbsup

Cool, thanks mate.... might have to save my $$ and book some time off then!
I thought he would have been crap live but he proved that theory wrong last year, he was fucking awesome and brilliant on stage. Vocally right on the money and the theatrics were a highlight, you get ya moneys worth at an Alice Cooper Concert.
I am so going to his concert! Been a fan for ever, and saw him live in Welly last year. Totally blew my socks off.
Save the money Trudes, you wont regret it I promise!

Absofuckinglutely. At Rock2Wgtn, IMHO he should have been headlining he blew Kiss and Ozzy off the stage, his show, energy , stage presence you name it. Best act of the entire weekend.

Of all the concerts I've been to his "Welcome o My Nightmare" show in 75 or 76 was the second best ever behind Pink Floyd.
A complete show not just a concert.

Hey heard today the tickets are on sale on thursday and i rung up the edge and their are three different priced tickets, the tickets are: $99, $125 i think and $145.
I cant fukn wait till this concert ive been waiting for the tickets to go on sale for over a month now lol
Doesn't seem to be sold out yet - surprised! So I might try and get up to this one.
I've no idea what this Aotea Centre venue is like and they are offering 3 ticket options. Which I assume is either ground level, the 2nd floor circle and 3rd floor balcony?
Are all three going to provide a good view?
