View Full Version : Katana 650 streetfighter, will swap il4 250

Hey guys the katana is up for sale as i want a zxr250 or cbr 250 so i can race streetstock and have as my roadbike also.

has been ground up rebuilt over last 9 months... too much done to list it all.

everything repainted.... new oil... filter.... full carb clean etc etc...

digital vapor dash... RGV 250 front end upgrade...

LED tail light... aftermarket indicators... new seat cover... wheel stripes... heated grips... new battery... new fork seals and fork oil. new rear tyre.

alot more done, too much to list...

has had the tank headlight cowl and front mudguard painted red since pictures taken (just spraycanned as i ran out of money lol)

comes with a 99% complete identical bike for spares. (in a million bits)

pic was taken when build still in progress i will try get something more recent...

Has fresh WOF and 3 month rego.

As i said these pictures are a couple of months old... i replaced the bent brake lever, now has a billet yoshimura brake resovoir cap with GSXR engraved in it, replaced the front mudguard.... fitted LED tail light, replaced the bent rear shock etc etc etc

just got these pictures up so people have some idea.

i will try get some fresh pictures soon.


EDIT: has just had the crank replaced... then aid bathed and polished, and new big end bearings.... purrs like a kitten... on steroids.

Hey mark, should that new USD front end be certified, or is just a fork change (i.e. no major work needed)?? Seems to me an engineer should be involved if the clamps and stuff were changed from stock.

Bearings were exact same and was a straight bolt in i asked certifiers and they said it didn't need it.

you'd be surprised how much you can do without a cert.

bump... 2nd gear buggered... i really cant be arsed fixing it...same with the fork seals are leaking a bit and i just cant be bothered... everything there to convert it to stock, 2 sets of origional forks...wheels etc etc

its still fully rideable just gotta double click 1st through to 3rd

the spare parts bike has the bits needed...

2.5k and its yours.

comes with 99% complete bike for spares ( in bits already)
