I found the same problem. The link on here to the crimson room is a link to another site, hosting an old copy of the .swf file (correct me now o tekernikal persons)

The combination is changed from time periodically, so you need to play the crimson room thingy on the same server that you find the safe combination on. Otherwise you'll be playing an old version of the game, that doesn't accept the current combination.
