Never heard of this?Oh yes you have (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?p=808468)!
According to this (http://www.thumperpage.com/articles/srx250/index.html), it's a natural competitor to the Yamaha SRX250 and Honda CBX250 (and laughingly the Suzuki GN250).

While shopping for an SRX, a CBX came up cheap. Did 40,000km in 18 months on it, including a fair bit of what is nowadays called 'adventure'. Fabulous little bike, no doubt the BR would do the same thing, but that example looks like it's been parked on the wharf too long.

UYsed to be a few of them around. Back in the day, all the Jap manufacturers had a sproty 250 single in their line up. Yamaha SRX250 (lovely bike); Honda CB25RS (also very nice), and later the GB250; Suzuki the NZ250 (not as popular). And the Kawasaki. Kawasaki was notably the fastest of the lot. Very fast for a 250 single. Also very fragile and inclined to grenade. Why you don't see many around now.

Ah but you have to say that.
I've never heard of the BR250 either. You say it's quicker than the NZ250 -- there's nothing I know that'll touch an NZ250 (in a straight line), they make ridiculous amounts of grunt. The BR250 being faster still, would be a very fun ride. But on the other hand the NZs last well (not aesthetically, but the motors still seem to be fresh and tight after two decades).
They need to bring back the 250 sport singles. There's what... CBF250, Scorpio... both are mild commuters. I know Honda continued to make the GB250 up until at least a couple of years ago (only sold it in Japan AFAIK) but what is there now?
