    Yeah,good point however it's likely to be fairly stiffly sprung so I don't see too much of a problem & there's always the anti roll bar option if needed later on

    That looks really nice now. Coincidently I was mucking about in my garage yesterday night and on an inpulse decided to sand a bit of chrome off the old triumph gas tank lid. Guess what I found under that shagged-out old chrome......brass. Had people turn up so haven't had time to go back in there with some polish but I'm even more keen now. Good idea for your battery box by the way.

    Only some of this build uses actual veteran bike parts including a much modded 1926/7 Triumph frame, real Brooks saddle & Albion gearbox, so follow this blog & find out what all this is for.,all will be revealed.........

    Enjoying your build btw. Lots more detail on all of the posts would've been fantastic but it's still a fun and interesting project to follow.

    Just found this working steam powered bike. Someone built it from scratch in nz, thought it kinda had a Steampunk flavour about it
