    yeah the Gladius was one of my first choices but then sat on the Suzuki 650s lol I have the luxury of time ,3mnths till get my full so will be sittin on and riding as many as I can I suppose.

    Have you thought about the new Triumph Bonneville that has smaller wheels and a lowered seat?
    Or, Suzuki Gladius, if you prefer sporty? - not sure of the height on those things though, but seem popular with the ladies.

    The Suzuki 650 gets very good write-ups both by owners and in reviews. Know one lady with a Hyosung 650 and very happy with it. Sit on both & see if you can test ride them. Then go with your own feelings. You won't make a mistake. Have fun looking. Cheers :-)

    If you want reliability, Japanese bikes are generally easier to live with than other bikes (Korean, European).
    And if you can't sit on it, don't force it.
