Yep, doing all that. Read future days for those all those things. Sturgis is 8-10th August ish, and from there, we head south to Grand Canyon, Vegas etc.

We travelled around the States in a Dodge Van back in the late eighties and loved it. Its a BIG place in all aspects.

Hi Andy,

No, no tour outline online, as for insurance purposes, he's not a "tour operator". He likes riding the USA etc, makes the book for those going, part of the money we give him is for his costs of organising etc, and he sorts all accommodation etc.

Check: http://alcatrazcruises.com/ for ticket reservations, and try to do it as early as possible (up to 90 days) to get the time you want. Books out quite quickly.

Hi Gremlin, I'm the guy you spoke to at the Mobil in Queenstown on the tt2k. Great blogs and photos. My wife and I are going up to Canada and San Fransisco in Dec and Jan later this year. We plan to do Alcatraz also.

Already moved on from San Francisco. Currently a day north, in Garberville (1am).

Fence I think was to prevent public access, ie, just walking down there.

why do they have barb wire around the beach on photo 11 ? Helmet hair kicking ass on photo 20.

I've heard that the locals at San Fransisco hate when you call it "Frisco". you should try it and see what happens
