that forest road is awesome.
Looks like you can almost fit a BMW 1200GSA in the Mini Guppy. Probably have the panniers stick out but still...

Sunburn? That never happens to Gremlin.
Nice pics - you should have used the camera in the wooded road area dagnabbit! Looking like some mighty fine purty places you heading around. And why doesn't it strike me odd, that something blew up with you around? Sunburnt gremlin ... still haven't learnt your lesson yet?
To clarify, I was wondering if you were heading for the Rockies, Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Vegas etc etc. We travelled around the States in a Dodge Van back in the late eighties and loved it. Its a BIG place in all aspects. Envious

He likes riding the USA etc, makes the book for those going, part of the money we give him is for his costs of organising etc, and he sorts all accommodation etc. Check: http://alcatrazcruises.com/ for ticket reservations, and try to do it as early as possible (up to 90 days) to get the time you want. Books out quite quickly.

Fence I think was to prevent public access, ie, just walking down there.
