Gremlin, I saw you and Toto ride past the Tearooms in Murchison, just as I was about to leave. Previously I had taken a time out to visit the Omaka WW1 Air Museum. For a war histroy nut like me this museum was just fantastic. To only spend 1 1/2 hours there was rushing it for me. Next time your passing through Blenheim take some time out to visit this hidden gem. F.D.

What a shame you didn't get the chopper ride..... helicopters are so cool to ride in
And yet, as I have said in your travel Americas blog, where the eff'n feck is the blardy photos of aforesaid girlies? Slow learner ...
Ahh the miserable conditions, the riding, the amount of confusion .. business as usual! Funny how Gremlin has got all the clobber, but then decides not to use them until the last moment when it would have been more beneficial ages ago! Having some good adventures, boy, sucks to be missing it!
Hmmmm.....cold, wet, slippery.......Nah, still not jealous!!.......yet!

I've had them in heavier rain without issue, just have to try and make sure I don't trap anything in the sides as I close them...

Do you know of anyone that would want to buy our awesome hornet? It's got many many mods. We are looking at buying a house, so need to free up some more cash.

It's interesting to note how Gremlin has to preface all his quibbles by blaming it on others! Good detailed ride report, usual malarky about the roads, weather, other vehicles and disasters that usually befall him. I wonder if Tombstone backpackers has learnt its lesson yet by giving accomodation to Gremlin third time lucky to break fixtures in the place! And yes, I am jealous as heck
I found the rest of your trip, good read. I look forward to reading of some of your other trips.
This makes interesting reading, I don't even remember how I got here. I intend on doing a bit of touring of the south this year and I am looking forward to reading what you get up to. You have a nice easy writing style for the reader. What sort of costs are the backpackers and are they any good? I have not stayed in one, I'm normally in a tent. You seem to be quite busy though so no hurry.......... no, really take your time

Interislander seems to have changed their policy this year. Last year it was $152 return for adult and bike on a code (MNZ had one, expired late last year right after this trip), but now it's 10% off... which makes it more like $200.
