I'm really looking forward to it. Surprisingly the suspension felt like it wasn't that far off, but I think they clowns managed to fluke that. I'll have a real good measure up at the track when there's someone around to help out.
Woot!!! It sounds like no other sickle I know of. Sounded cool pulling out towards Ruffel Rd. Enjoy Thurs mate.
Awesome bro! You're gonna have a ball

Good stuff. Thanks man It's great that other people are interested in seeing how this bike progresses and the help I've had is fantastic. Couldn't have done it without other people giving up their time and skills.
Awesome. Brackets are cut and will be drilled and machined this Saturday morning. I'm interested in this project, and a little suprised how easy it has been losing a cylinder.
Cheers for the heads-up man. Sounds like progress for sure.
Coppers haunt that bike. Firstly on the trailer in Narawhahia(spelling), and now under her own steam. Wild child is that young Trinni. (Growls just the way men like it too)
I haven't been cutting back on the burgers and beers so I don't think there's going to be any keeping up down the straights eh. Anyone who wants to find out if it's really a triple can hold onto #4 exhaust header I reckon.
No one is going to make you "prove" it's a 450. Well unless you go out in F2 and are keeping up with them down the straights! Nice work, look forward to seeing it out on track!
Good point. Although I think the sound is all the proof you need that it's not a 4 cylinder anymore. But for people that want to know how it's done that pic will be a beaut.
Thats a good photo of the inj rail/ cyl vent. You might need a copy at the track to show scrutineers/competitors, otherwise you'll be pulling the tank off/on several times a meeting.
You're right there mate, she sounded proper angry when she fired I'll definitely be wheeling her out at Hampton Downs sometime Devil so keep an eye out.
Sounds awesome. Cant wait to see it.
I still feel a bit bad about not checking every last nut n bolt inside that engine. But you are right about muppets who "finger tighten" internal components. I still have a slight urge to rip one testicle off whoever did that work, but by mid week it will be down to just kicking him in the knackers. It did sound fooking angry when it first fired up though:-) Dino txt me at 2.30pm on the following day. He was still in bed recovering. lol
Mate, I'm sure I'll be real sore after a race meeting and I won't be able to do anything except sit there, dribbling and typing. Hell, I may have to bump up the character limit on blog posts on here
you can slap him for me too! just for the hell of it!! i hope when you start racing your race reports aren't this long!!
So he needs a slap for having the gear shift around the wrong way, a slap for the pussy steering damper and a slap for high siding someone elses Ducati. Anythingelse?
Had a thought reading that MT, I'm guessing Steve has the bike back in road pattern shifiting? If so, slapa him (hope you are reading this Steve). Thats why its hard work shifting it, lifting your leg for that. If its race pattern the hard shift is going into corners when you are sitting upright and it isn't a problem... Jay
