I pulled my front and rear calipers off today and gave them a thorough clean.
Took my around an hour but now that I know what to do, I reckon around half that in the future.
As for the soap, liquid hand wash soap was easy to mix.

What about the slipper clutch, do you need to adjust that once you have adjusted the cable clutch?? If so what is best fo rthat and how?
