Hanne lived happily ever after, enjoyed the excellent feeling of freedom and the thrill of two wheels..and never had to ride a pink scooter again.

Well done, enjoy and be safe

So how does that work with people who have numerous bikes of very different characters?

I enjoy being young also. The only downside is every so often being abused as a "crazy young idiot". So long as I leave my helmet on.

I don't think the healing thing is related to youth - some people just heal better than others. I have always been fortunate - burns and cuts always heal quickly without infection, and leave no scars (serious ones it sometimes takes a few years for the scars to go).

When I was attacked by a homicidal psychopathic spade a couple of weeks ago which sliced my foot half way through , six days after the vicious attack, I thought maybe I better get a tetanus shot. So I went round to the A&E. "sliced foot - need tetanus jab" . "When". "Six days ago". "OK lets take a look". "No need just want jab- oh all right but no need I've stopped the bleeding and put a plaster on it and all the attached bits wiggle OK, but if you insist".

Then followed the third degree. "When did you say this happened". "Six days ago" You mean they took the stitches out six days ago". " No, no stitches just bandage, six days ago". Cue calling in senior doctor who was a right cunt.

In short they refused to believe it happened only six days ago , or that it had not been stitched, because , they said , it was well on the way to healing , and so deep a cut could not heal in that time, nor heal properly without stitches. Why TF would one lie about such a thing? In the end I lost my temper and just told them to give me the jab and shut up. I'm sure I'm down as senile or some sort of crazy looking for drugs (though I didn't want any - they offered , said "it must be very painful.". No, it wasn't )

Now, it's almost fully healed just a red line which will fade in a week or two.

It's just down to body chemistry some folk heal well some don't

(The spade is now up a tree where I flung it. If it tries to get down I will gas axe the brute. Society is not safe with such murderous villains on the loose)

The GPS had its inaugural outing last night....

We got lost and ended up walking two streets over from our 'destination' to find the house we were after. >< I guess some things never change.

Awesome, it sounds like I must ride with him.

I have a GPS and I've ended up in MORE places I wouldn't have, than if I didn't. Gravel in the middle of the night, trying a "shortcut" etc.

Well, good luck, and have an awesome time!

Creative writing on a biker site. You're either misplaced or brave. Either should be applauded.
