I must say the ST rides as smoothly on a trailer as it does off it!

    Damn... sounds like fun aye?

The way I see it, you've had your share of bad luck, now you won't have problems on the GC. That, or they come in threes

That's what I thought, but when I counted the bikes in the pic......bloody Harley! She was probably conserving gas unless it couldn't make it back out!?

Fifteen bikes? For some reason Jude didn't make it to the group photo. Probably trying to get the burglar alarm on the Harley turned off.

Interesting comment about the GPS losing its way near Qtown. We have a lot of trouble with GPS navigation (aviation) down that way - the satellite angle is quite great - the US military have little interest in providing GPS coverage down there - and it can cause us some real issues. We need at least 5 satellites for approach navigation - there is only 3 needed for basic 2-D navigation though - and we spend tens of $1000's on aerials and equipment to ensure we can get into Wanaka and Qtown

As long as the route is saved into Betty, you can call it up again. She may prompt if you want to be navigated to the start, and make sure you say no. She should then pick up your current location, direction of travel, and continue navigating from where you are, and then forward.

You also have recently found items, that if found on the GPS, can quickly be recalled instead of typing it again.

Glad this ride worked out a bit better aye?

The 2nd puncture has a bubble around the patch because the layers in the tyre have delaminated. A plug might work but the tyre would soon wear in that area and it's not worth the risk, $'s or bother....especially when I am planning to do Gold on the upcoming TT.

There were no items deposited in the tyre on either puncture and I actually think I scored a dud from MR Avon...but there's no way to prove or disprove that so I'll just wear it and move on.
