Great write up. I for one throughly enjoyed myself. A great ride to lose my 1000k ride virginity on.
Yo Koro From Ken#2 - great ride and a great day. You can't stop those ST1300s from getting on with it huh. (Silver ones especially) Great day. The Corbin seat finally settled in. You guys did a great job. Thanks a lot!!!!!!
Cheers for the ride John - we hit Ashhurst at 5:30, waited around to hopefully see a few more of the guys go thru. Gave it about 40mins before heading off home for tea and some z'a.
Congratulations to all and a great write up.
what more needs to be said, well done that man.
'Ard man! Well done for going the extra mile (or 500km's)! Shame I missed it this year, I have been looking forward to a good challenge!
Well done pal... It was a great ride!
Top job koroj, in mourning @missing gc. Had planned on being a starter this year, the extention really intrigued me.. Big ups to the rusty's for another top event to keep us all lining up.Keep up the good work. Congrats to all other finishers
Bloody good blog mate I enjoyed reading so much i may have to enter next year Well done
Well done. What was the fourth bike that finished the extension? Another wind-protected 400kg missile probably?
fantastic read !!! Top marks for doing the extension
Top effort John! She was a mission all right but fun all the same. Cheers Andrew.
Awesome write up Koro - and a fantastic effort on the GC and extension - Congratualtions
Unlucky on the points. I got pinged on Sunday for 114 and advised to cool it down a bit on the big bike. No ticket.
Thanks John for leading the trip. It was a great day and great company considering the none turn out at the start.
You had some good times together, be thankful for that at least, not everyone had the same chance.
Exactly. I was lucky but a nephew living in the 'US' wrote, "If nothing else comes out of this, just know that it has made me realize that "tomorrow never comes", and that one should not put off for tomorrow what he can do today". Carpe Dieum I guess
Sorry to hear that Koro. He sounds like quite a character. I still have my Dad so I cannot relate fully, but in the last ten years I have spent probably a total of 60 hours with him, which is one of the reasons for me moving back. Got some catching up to do...
