			<description>Went along to the gathering at Auckland Museum and joined the 15 or so riders for the ladies run.  A great day for it and with Akl traffic even more congested than a weekday (this is normal!!), it was a great opportunity for the public to see the visual display of lady riders on all manner of bikes...</description>

Yes it would have been great to see more riders but mind you... it only took 4,  yes 4 bikes to actually slow down and in some places...</description>

Disappointing I know!! Yes it would have been great to see more riders but mind you... it only took 4,  yes 4 bikes to actually slow down and in some places STOP the north western motorway traffic.  This group managed to 'lead' the two lanes of traffic from Te Atatu to Westgate at 35-45kph then continued through to Kumeu at 50-55kph with traffic in tow. So a protest still nonetheless and a peaceful one at that. :rockon:</blockquote>
