With only 2 days until the new year, and just over 2 months until the season starts it's time for a new thread.
Who's your money on?
Will Bagnia do the triple?
Will Marc return to former glory and bring us a season in which he dominates?
Will Martin secure his dream to win a championship?...
If you've tried to buy Michelin Road 5 or 6 tyres recently, you probably know that there is a shortage and some sizes are unavailable.
I have heard that it could be months before another shipment arrives, so if you might need a new Michelin soon, it could be worth buying one now.

The Auckland Rescue Helicopter Charity Ride is on this Sunday 26th Feb 2012
They need us more than ever as their funding has been stopped from another source. Your support is essential.
Where else can you be part of a mass of bikes riding through Auckland.
Tell your mates and lets have a big ride just because we can.
By being in the Ride, not only are we supporting the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust, but also enjoying the mass ride through Auckland, and reminding other road users that we are on the roads too.
Coffee available at the beginning, and food and drinks at the end.
Beginning at the usual place - Karaka Bloodstock Centre -right beside motorway opposite Papakura
Finishing at the Head Office of Warehouse on Akoranga Drive this year.
it was a great ride.. quite a few people turned up at the Autobahn, and we all had a great ride to the shore.Anyone got figures on how many bikes yet?
Was indeed mate, short ride but a good one, huge turn out. got some good footage on the helmet cam. will make a video and put it on youtube tonight or something.
As always Kev, lovely to see you, butt "no thanks,"for your services. LOL, I have and always will recommend MRS as a great caring motorcycle recovery service to my friends and the wider motorcycle fraternity.
Yep she was a cracker ride. Lot's a people; lot's a bikes I hope that we did a good job of making plenty for the Westpac boys and girls.
The FBMC was, as always, widely represented and our day began a bit earlier at Manurewa.
The BFTP though woefully lacking in numbers was also represented by no less than 4 members and their bikes. Thanks guys, hope you did actually make it, though I suspect not as we did not see any of you at the ride end.
We even had man on a Harley (nice Harley too) who tagged along with the FBMC'ers, I hope he wasn't too traumatized that his early morning destination wasn't a HOG meeting point.
Looking forward to receiving my badge in the mail, had a ball and thank you to the ride organisers who I know were stretched to the max and very grateful to see so many bikes and their riders turn out today.
Had the rare privilage of riding with a long lost friend today, enjoyed the trip back mate and hope to see you again in the Tron next week for the Hammy Sally's toy run.
NoNoNo , glad you made it out today mate and of course back home I hope.te he he. Was damn fine to see you mate.
Just as an aside has anyone seen or heard anything on any of the news services about today's incredible sight on Auckland s motorways, of motorcyclists turning out in their thousand to help the WestPac Rescue Helicopter?
Be nice to see us in the news for all the right reasons for a change.

Well he wasnt "totally" alone in his ownership of own of them HOG things ah
What a great day and from where I was - a very well behaved bunch of bikers and pretty patient car drivers. Awesome to see the numbers up after last year and I look forward to hearing how much was raised and how many bikes there were officially. Thanks to Caseye (and Mrs Caseye) for allowing us FBMC to wake up all his neighbours this morning

Haven't seen anything in the herald or any other services of yet. Looking forward to seeing other footage of the day. Was a stunning day and the speed of all the riders was actually quite well paced. Another great event.
Great day out and thanks Cas for hosting the FBMC pre ride at your gaff.Brilliant turn out and once again met some fantastic people all united for a great cause.
It's great to hear how it went as I was so busy I didn't have time to notice.Definitely more bikes than last year and more money flowing in than last yearCan't confirm numbers yet but about 600.There are definitely some things to improve on.Did you prefer the Warehouse car park or AUT car park?
What happened to the ride through Queen St? The route to QS was even in the official ad.
Generally well behaved bunch and had a good chat to a couple on a K3 DL1000 yellow Canadaian import.
Not sure what official ad you were looking at as Queen Street has been off the itinerary for a couple of years and there has been no mention in my posters.
It i s a great function to meet or catch up with other bikers

Looking forward to it. Was waiting to see if anyone other people had some footage of the event. Will look out for it. Cheers

Sorry, I was looking at the photo of the bikes queued on the Wellesley street off ramp heading to Queue. The ride down QS was always a highlight, rather than the drudge up the southern and through spagetti.

Those were the days, 120-140 on the motorway (just to catch up) 120 down queens st, cops encouraging you go faster along Fanshaw st. A group ride like no other.
Well organised, great turnout, well behaved riders, patient cagers - I enjoyed the social aspect of it. FBMC was well represented I had the pleasure of introducing our latest member to you all- miss Tracy Kh. Thanks to Ullesyes they looked after us brilliantly with coffees and food.
I did think that the Drill Team doing the precision riding was a bit of a joke though...
I spotted mistake after mistake and I think that they should sit down tonight and watch this video......
*Runs and ducks for cover...
From 5.00 minutes onward they are just unbelievable!

So did you go see them after and tell them this, then offer to put on a show to show how it should be done?
