This trader must be pretty hard to outdo as far as optimism goes. Bike has been on the market for a year now, wonder when the penny will drop he''s dreaming at that price. You'd have thought after a year he might have got round to the little bit of tlc required to get running.
...
With only 2 days until the new year, and just over 2 months until the season starts it's time for a new thread.
Who's your money on?
Will Bagnia do the triple?
Will Marc return to former glory and bring us a season in which he dominates?
Will Martin secure his dream to win a championship?...
Yup tis me
I missed Oscar
So I decided to resume the nonsense

The Auckland Rescue Helicopter Charity Ride is on this Sunday 26th Feb 2012
They need us more than ever as their funding has been stopped from another source. Your support is essential.
Where else can you be part of a mass of bikes riding through Auckland.
Tell your mates and lets have a big ride just because we can.
By being in the Ride, not only are we supporting the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust, but also enjoying the mass ride through Auckland, and reminding other road users that we are on the roads too.
Coffee available at the beginning, and food and drinks at the end.
Beginning at the usual place - Karaka Bloodstock Centre -right beside motorway opposite Papakura
Finishing at the Head Office of Warehouse on Akoranga Drive this year.
Ok just for fun what bikes have you ridden on this event?
I have been on
GSX750F CBR1000F VTR1000 VSTROM1000 AND THIS YEAR MY FJR1300
Ive been going since 2000 what was your first year?
Pity they still don't block the motorway off.
What's this about 8ish...where?
As for your question Mr "Knock over the bollards at the pub";
79 Goldwing (not an armchair)
CX500 (Loved it)
BMW1200C
Vulcan Classic 1500
Triumph 955 Sprint
Newmarket Tractor.
See you at 8 if someone tells me where.
Oh and as an aside.
There is a guy who rides a BMW 1200C, I've got some free bits for him if he is going on Sunday. Had his number and lost it. Anyone help? He will need something to carry them home. Back pack might be OK if big enough.

They all meeting at the big BP Truckstop on the motorway near papakura ... ill be there
The plan is that there will be a rolling block from Drury for us to get onto the motorway.
Then we keep to the right lane and "own" that one. Stay as close to each other in staggered formation as is safely possible.Keeps the cars out.
Fanshawe on ramp will also be closed as we come out of the tunnel so that we can safely cross over to the left.
Then over the bridge on the clip-ons. Before exiting at Esmande off ramp.
Left all the way as we are finishing in the Warehouse Head Office carpark.
The Police will stop traffic. We are not allowed to
The Police have asked us to keep to the right lane, leaving the cars to get on or off without too much interference. We stay clear of the on and off ramps which is safer for us too.

Not arguing the safety point or anything, just saying its alot of bikes for 1 lane. never mind we will make do

That makes sense - though I bet many cars will force their way into the lane. Always amazes me how cars push into what is so obviously a group ride, especially when there is such a wide range of bike, and is therefore obviously a charity ride rather than a MC ride.

Just the general bad attitude from so many cars...

I recall a cager doing this, don't know what she was doing as she drove onto the grass and almost hit the divider. This was near Manukau WTF.
I know that there is the KB wave but will there be a FBMC flag so we know where to meet (or is that meat pie!!)
I might be able to make this one - yipee
There are a few FBMC riding in from all over to take part on this, keep an eye out for the 'Eat The Road' tee shirts......or simply follow the trail of crumbs...
