    Optimistic sellers

    Thread Starter: Rcktfsh

This trader must be pretty hard to outdo as far as optimism goes. Bike has been on the market for a year now, wonder when the penny will drop he''s dreaming at that price. You'd have thought after a year he might have got round to the little bit of tlc required to get running. ...

Okay I'll start the new year's thread this time to save jellywrestler doing it. So Alex Marquez is now confirmed as Marc's team mate at Repsol Honda. It will be interesting to see how he goes in the first tests later today as he hasn't really set the other classes alight like his older brother...

    Yamaha RZ/Banshee build

    Thread Starter: el chupacabra

Hello, long story short after years of owning RGV250s and having a couple of seizures chasing performance i decided to hack up my frame and fit a set of banshee cases i got from the states knowing that they had more potential for a lightweight race bike. (just for track days and the odd club races)...

    CBR TF125 Bucket Racer

    Thread Starter: anglia4

Hi all, I've been working on this little project for quite a while now. I had been looking for something as a bit of a bucket racer project for a while when my brother ended up with an MC19 CBR250 that he was parting out. So I snapped up the rolling frame and then managed to stumble across a...

As the thread title says. Show us you $45ish(VTNZ adds about $10) a year regoed motorcycles that you use on a regular basis and a few details about it. Mine is a '76 CB550 Super Sport I bought in 1986. Back on the road after a 10 year hiatus. Around $400 saw it back on the road in reliable...

When to cross a yellow line.

    Thread Starter: cheshirecat

So as usual the NZ road code is delightfully vague. There's a road near me with a yellow line and with cars parked its impossible, in a car, not cross the line to get past. On a bike of course I can just zoom up and 555 all the cars crossing it to find out if the law applies and set a precident....

    Identifying a LAMS bike

My partner and I are new to New Zealand and are shopping for a couple of used Suzuki DL650 V-Stroms. Looking through TradeMe, some of the ads mention "Full Power" or "LAMS." It appears that there are two flavors of that model in the market. Our US licenses converted over to Class 6 unrestricted...

Some technical infringements in one new class which were apparently sorted before they went out on track

Indeed, but they got off on the grass at that last start but the CTAS coverage wasn't close enough to show us exactly what happened, and they had a good comeback from that - well done boys .

I watched a bit of the CTAS coverage and that was pretty good compared to previous efforts including the post race interviews.
