    Optimistic sellers

    Thread Starter: Rcktfsh

This trader must be pretty hard to outdo as far as optimism goes. Bike has been on the market for a year now, wonder when the penny will drop he''s dreaming at that price. You'd have thought after a year he might have got round to the little bit of tlc required to get running. ...

The foundry or metal casting stuff thats been going on the the ESE thread really inspired me to get on with having a go at this stuff. If you can cast metal theres really not much you cant do. I dont think its going to be easy, most of it has been a bit of 2 steps forward 1 step back so far. Im...

    Race chassis

    Thread Starter: cotswold

I just thought I would post these pictures of a couple of bikes I raced back when I was faster. The Waddon chassis was very basic but worked very well and I think would make a fantastic bucket frame. It was light and the bike handled well, the one I had was bought from Ian Young who had finished...

    Similar to MT09?

    Thread Starter: HEsch

I test rode an MT-09 on the weekend. Loved it although the handlebars were custom so I need to try one with standard bars and see if they are any better (something about the custom set up wasn't quite right). What other models will be similar power/size/weight/fun? Could be any brand. I'm...

I'm getting more into welding/fabrication as a hobby and am just progressing past the stage of working on offcuts and scraps. But I have no idea where to buy steel (box, tube, sheet) for reasonable prices. I'm in Tauranga. Ta.

    XR200 gearshaft/countershaft ????

    Thread Starter: mike white

Hi I stripped down what I thought was my 81 Honda xr200 as I wanted to replace the shaft that the front sprocket was on as previous owner had welded it on. Also tidying up the motor at same time. However the hiccup I have come across is that when I recieved another shaft from honda dismantler it...

Brand new to bikes in West Auckland

    Thread Starter: Statek

Hi guys, I've ridden a bike a few times around 20 years ago, but since then, other then riding scooters overseas, I've never contemplated on riding in Auckland due to being extremely aware of how terribly unaware most drivers tend to be. With traffic getting really bad this year, and changing...

I watched a bit of the CTAS coverage and that was pretty good compared to previous efforts including the post race interviews.
