Brilliant ride I thought! It was a privilege to lead some 140 bikes around a great loop and catch up with some great people Lot's of excellent moments and it was a pleasure to see that all of the bikes made it back to the Square safe and sound. Fantastic turnout and a very tidy sum raised for a great cause. Well done to all involved Can't wait til next years

Really enjoyed the day - superbly organised and smoothly run. The weather wasn't too bad either - not too hot and only a few spits here and there on the ride - good planning eh?

      A few pics here: http://picasaweb.google.com/andrew.l...eat=directlink

Thanks to all involved in organising and running the day. I was glad to do my little bit and it looks like Ronald McDonald house should be a lot better off after everyone's efforts.

      Well done Lance & crew!

awesome day. yep.. For the best part of it. It went superb! Who on the commitee was in charge of talking to God about the weather? Overall, it wasnt bad weatherwise. Didnt actually get wet on the ride just some wet roads which slowed things down alot - but thats not nessaccesarrly a bad thing. Big ups to Lance for putting it all together. The lions for the help on the day.. The lunch was mint. Just need to sit down and work out what worked and what can be improved on for next year.

Twas an excellent day, even a wee bit of moisture didn't dampen the spirits, also great to catch up with people i haven't seen for a while. Applause to the organisers -- well done. Have made a note to myself - take a bit more extra cash next time some awesome prizes were going cheap.
Thanks for the cuppa and bike bit Bones, We gotta keep these ole Honda's ticking along aye

Well, where do I start, the day was simply AMAZING

I know you'll all be wondering how much money was raised.......$$$6770.00 till now with a small matter to clear up, wow.

Thanks so much to those who came, (especially the large amount of people who were out of towners) entered and were fed, weren't the burgers, awesome, thanks to Melody's new world who donated the cube rolls for the steak.

Thanks also to those who bid at the auction, man didn't you lot get some bargins, like, ferry crossings for a car, 2 adults and 3 kids worth $600 went for $145, a brand new set of drawers worth $1100 went for $230, the weekend away worth $460 went to Cowboyz for $150, etc, etc, etc.

Special thanks to James (meanie) JS Kitchens, for getting right behind the event, he would have put as much time into organising this thing as I did, putting up with me going round, what do you think of this, how should we do that, phone calls, etc, etc. Without the support of Ashhurst - Pohangina Lions we would have been in dire straits, so a huge thanks to those guys too!!

Thank you to all who made this day the success that it was, I won't go naming people as I'd probably leave some one out!!

Hey this can only get better.

See you all and more next year March 5th, 2011.

And for those who couldn't make it today who wish to make a donation, PM me or www.givealotoflove.co.nz

      Thanks

And of course, my wife and family who have suffered for the last little while while this has been organised and going on, thanks for your support and sorry for the grumpyness on my behalf

Hey great ride, great scenery , although I had to get ahead of a pillion hunched over on a sportbike - I was starting to suffer from target fixation. Well organised and I have never been on such a well behaved group ride,
