    . This is Thomas a Vietnamese race mechanic, you know that place where they have all those hot 50's and 125's are big bikes. Thomas, ESE's Race Team's Tuner is fettling number 9. adjusting the port timing for Taupo. Its hard to see but he has taped a degree wheel to the magneto flywheel...

  • Cliff Hanger Hill Climb - March 2010

    Ok guys and gals, it's time again to crown the new King of the Cliff Hanger, that is unless Drew Mair can retain his 2009 title !!

    Where: Te Wharau Road, Gladstone, East of Carterton.

    When: Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st March 2010.

    Entry forms and more information available at www.cliffhanger.org.nz (please be patient as the website is being updated over the next few days)

    Pre entering is advised for the hillclimb, as entries will be limited.

    There is also a rally being held adjacent to the hill climb pit area.

    Costs: $25 if before 10 March 2010, or $30 late entry.
    Meals: Roast dinner $14.00 (pre booked before 10 March only)
    Breakfast $7.00

    Other food (BBQ) and beverages (incl alcohol) available for sale at good rates. Free coffee.

      Stupid question, is petrol available in Gladstone ? Or shall I strap a jerry can or two to my backpack.

      Best take a can, depending on what fuel your using bp has the only 98 in Masterton.
      Bike all loaded ready for tomorow just gota bleed the front brakes, they seem to be a real bitch to do at the moment.

      Top up the bike and bring a jerry can as well mate. Full tank would probably suffice but best to be safe than sorry.

      If possible can you fill up at Cutfield Motors - Gasoline Alley on main street of Carterton as they are a sponsor of the event.

      That goes for everyone else too please. I don't know if they have 98 though.

      oh btw the band has a brand knew set of high definition speakers so anyone in need of a face lift just stand front and centre lol.
