New ACC levies from 1st July

    Thread Starter: pete376403

Not noticing any outrage (or even calm discussion) here on the new ACC levies to be applied from 1 July. My two over 650s will be liable for $1066 per year. assuming both get 12 month registration. (not gonna happen) MAGNZ on FB is organising petitions, Official Information requests and a...

    Kiddies sunnies on a bike

    Thread Starter: jellywrestler

Years ago I grabbed a set of childs sunnies at a $2 shop as they didn't have anything else, turns out it was one of my best ever riding equipment purchase. The arms wouldn't reach my ears so when i went from a sunny to a dark space i could flick my head forward and ditch them in a split second,...

  • AMCC Club Round - Hampton Downs, 17 Oct: Under threat of being called off

    Gidday All,
This is an "All Hands On Deck" call to all you that are contemplating racing at the above meeting...

If you are thinking of entering but haven't got around to it - it's now time to "Pull Finger" & do so

At this stage of the game the meeting is under real threat of being called off due to a serious lack of confirmed entries

The R.R.C have made significant efforts to gather input from you "The Riders" in as far as what classes you'd like to see racing, what entry fee's you'd be prepared to pay, the layout of the programme to best allow those of you who want to X enter to do so...

And yet to date entries in all classes have been absolutely bl**dy dismal...

In fact the only class that has achieved the minimum grid requirement is the "Side Car's"

The Club has undertaken a serious financial committment to bring this & further rounds at Hampton Downs to you, so it's now up to you lot to show your support / appreciation by playing the game & getting entered

The sooner the better people because a decision will be being made shortly...

Those of you with any questions are welcome to PM me or check the clubs Facebook page (I don't belong to Facebook so cannot provide a link)

You can get your entry forms here http://www.amcc.org.nz/updates-events

    Cheers

My understanding is numbers are "getting there" and with the usual last minute rush we should be ok.

However the cut off for pre entry is still a couple of days away (Thursday) and the call will be made then.

So logic should tell us we will know on Friday, I will try and get the answer up on here Friday anyway.

      Right, sounding positive.

If I were to come along and watch what are the Practice times and Racing?

Should I bring my Paddington Bear lunch box or are the selling pies?

      Any idea on entry cost?

Yep see below (been trying to do some work at work, silly me ha ha)

      Yes the meeting is on

Sign on & scrutineering is from 7:30
      Riders briefing 8:45
      practise starts 9:15

I dont know the order or the class numbers.

Usual request is to get there and set up nice and early, it makes for a much smoother start to the day.

Thaks for everybodys efforts in making this event happen
