A day on the hill

Well, we met at the bottom of the Haywards - the other guys were on 1100's and I had my 750 and the handbrake (oops I mean my dearly beloved wife of course)
So we turn left and behave ourselves valiantly up to the top where we stop long enough for a ciggy and some bs with the other riders.
Heading down into the 'rapa side we get stuck behind some stubborn cagers doing sweet fuck all over snail pace - even my uber conservative missy is like 'wtf get past these clowns' but I hold my patience and reign in my noble steed - not for lack of want did my throttle stay closed.
I ride 2 up - very very carefully- its another life I have in my hands and legs and balance and judgment - (poor soul) -
My co-conspiritors on the Blackbird and the Slingshot are patiently out-riding us behind and left/right of my track, kindly letting slow old 2up nana me lead us to our destination- or get us lost!
That all changed as a gaggle of bikes swooped past on the Martinborough road, and the two 1100's with a mind of their own just took off into the distance - and who could blame....
They waited up at the end of the road patiently awaiting our casual pace to catch up
What a day - great food - nice people whoever you all were at the MartinB cafe - blah blah
Hometime came oh so unreasonably soon...
