The Bream Bay Community Support Trust is organising their second White Ribbon Motorcycle and Classic car rally this November 28th 2009. Last year we had around 300 bikes attend along with various hot rod clubs with their cars. The White Ribbon Run was started in response to the killing of women and children who died as a result of domestic violence. Last year in 2008 14 women and children died at the hands of their partners and stepfathers. This year their has been an unprecedented number of bikers who want to support this years run which will start in Wellington on the 25th of November and make their way North, the group will rally at the telstra clear stadium in manukau on the 27 november and continue on to Ruakaka where the local people will be hosting the riders.
