Sunday 13th : Taking some chewfiddies around the block

Well, today, I find myself in the earstwhile company of some fellow motorcycling stalwarts. Some new, some old to our fine lifestyle.

I had watched a thread on KB with growing interest, a group of learners/250cc riders wished to improve their skills, associate in like-minded company and to do so, in relative safety (as safe as motorcycling gets).

This morning, I pre-rode the roads towards the BP Botany, which has been the gathering spot for many a memorable ride. As the group collected, some familiar and not so familiar faces appeared. The appearance of DONOR in a cage to act as TEC was a rather suprised, but most definitely not unwelcomed addition.

The ride took in most of the three minstrels and a fair few other roads as well! I don't think they knew my reputation enough and allowed me great latitude in the route and the length.

This is the route in no mean detail, abbreviated for time and of course, dear reader, most of you will be familiar with the names as they do seem to figure highly in my own travels.

Whitford
Maraetai
Clevedon
Hunuas
Mercer (where we stopped for lunch, I remembered most mere mortals do need sustenance to keep going! Whereas I prefer to sup on the nectar of the journey and get my protein in the form of insects that wander into my mouth along the way)
Miranda
Kaiaua
Clevedon
Twilight Road

From there, we split up to our respective demesnes and to do our own chores as we see fit to do.

I myself, found myself at home and back out to Mt Wellington, to purchase a novel to safely ensconce myself at home and begin a leisurely read.

Oh, the best laid plans of mice and men.

Somehow I found myself heading out to SH16 via the backroads from Kumeu (old North Rd) and in Wellsford ... I made the choice to head to Maungawhai (as you do) via the backroads of Wellsford (as you do).

On that travail, I come across the redoubtable TOTO and crew coming back from their lakeside rest! I turn around and catch up with them and we all join forces to head back to Wellsford. TOTO and I collude with weaselly, stoaty cunningness (a plan so cunning, you could stick a tail on it and call it a weasel) to ride to Piha! Oh joy! Oh wondrous boon!

So as it goes, the weather turns and the roads are wet and damp, but, never fear, riding is what we do! Piha was stunning in its setting glory, with hunger gnawing at our bellies, we set off to the city to refuel on noodles and lychee tea from Daikoku. With the repast slurped down into our gullets and much satisfaction had, we parted company. TOTO to rest, and me ... I rode the night east to Mission bay, to complete a nice little compass ride. Kaiaua in the south, Piha to the west, Maungawhai to the north (which ... I didn't get to! Shall have to make that up, any excuse for a ride!)

So with that my dear reader, draws to a conclusion my weekends riding. A nice near round number of 1800km so far ... but not so nice as the fulsome suppleness and tender shape of breasts and buttocks draped alluringly over a lovely bit of motorcycle. Even moreso when aforementioned breasts and buttocks are encased in form fitting riding leathers! Mmmm hawt biker chicks in riding leathers ... the only thing better is watching hawt biker chicks in riding leathers riding ahead of you! ... But ... I digress ... I wonder what Mondays riding shall bring!
