Where To From Here?Change in society over the centuries witnesses, more often than not discontent, particularly the internal bickering that does arise……
For some there is abject acceptance of the recently increased ACC levy.
And, for others, there is the projected annoyance at the levy, and projected annoyance may be the ongoing characteristic and action.
For some others there is the reality that within the overall makeup of ACC, there needs to be a philosophy/policy, rightly or wrongly accepted or rejected by the people. Hence, within this democratic society there is the polling booth, a quiet personal space, a space that is accepted where each person has a right to elect and reject .
The cards have been dealt, the Flop, and Turn are there, and so is the River. We’re all sitting there with our own hands.
Who has folded, who has bet, who has raised, and who will call? And at the end of the bidding, there are no winners, but rather there are those with the ability and foresight to say, tomorrow the sun will rise, and life goes on. Tomorrow there may be divisions and internal bickering, but tomorrow brings with it wisdom.
“Bill I believe this is killing me,” As the smile ran away from his face….
And the waitress is practising politics, as the bus’nessmen slowly get stoned…..
And they sit at the bar and put bread in my jar and say, “Man what are you doin’ here?”
Sound familiar?
