Cruising Coromandel

Stellar ride today. Rode down the 25 from Coromandel to Thames and back. It was just one of those where everything came together perfectly. The sun was shinning, but it wasn't too warm under my leathers. There were cars for a while but they were really descent with letting me pass and so i got to spend most of my time cruising just me , my bike and the road. Ahhhhh....bliss!! The curves and scenery on this route are just stunning...the ocean was shimmering, people were out swimming, sunning and fishing. Just got back still glowing from the ride and opened myself a nice cold sassy red bitter beer...this is the life.

Nice one! Since I retired, I get to ride the Coromandel roads as often as I like... AND take the boat out fishing - it's a tough life all right :-). This may sound dumb, but you don't happen to work at the Pepper Tree, do you?

Enjoy your time in the country!

Fishing...what fun! I tried that for the first time out by Mangawhai heads....did my best to feed the local fish population....had a blast though. No I don't work at the pepper tree...I have 4 more days left at the driving creek cafe and then I head out to chase more adventures. I'm gonna go help out at desert storm, really looking forward to it. Caught any good fish lately?
