Doing Sprockets On The GSX

Rate this Entry
OK got the front sprocket, rear is coming in tomorrow morning.

A mate and I got the rear wheel off to find the front sprocket nut is on very tight (well dah you might say) and I'm going to need a power socket / rench 32' to get it off, hopefully I can borrow them from a mechnic tomorrow after work.

The chain is in good condition but had quite a bit of crappy grease on it, I cleaned what I could with meths (took freaking 45mins!) and will re-lube properly when its on the new sprockets tomorrow even (I hope to be up and going to KB ride wednesday evening).

I managed to scrape and wipe about a kilogram of greasy, grimey crap that's buit up around the sprocket case and chain guide.
