Had appointment with the specialist yesterday and he's very happy with the progress. I have more movement in my arm than it took to get 9 months after the accident. Hasn't affected my riding at all, in fact I took the bike in for my appointment.
The scar is looking pretty neat and tidy too. Had a wee lumpy thingy at one end of it where the stitches were removed but that's gone away now (kinda looked like a gross pimple!) and the bio-oil has been doing wonders as well.

Turned up at a work bbq yesterday afternoon to have one of my colleagues clamp his hand on my right shoulder in greeting - I nearly yelped out loud! He did feel a bit bad once he realised what he'd done. Had to let him off as he hadn't seen me since the end of school last year and would have forgotten completely about my operation.

Back to the specialist again in 2 months, another xray, most likely more exercises to do....

Makes me very glad that I came off so lightly with injuries after reading a number of threads on here lately about offs....
