Mrs weekendwarrior

Well i have recently started riding. My hubby started a couple of years ago and I decided it looked fun and would have a go. So bought a new GN125, decided to start small as my last experience on a motobike left me on crutches for many weeks! Not enjoying the 70km/hr rule, have managed to somehow misplace my 'L' plate, no dramas yet, had a couple of near misses but my GN seems to be very forgiving and looks after me well... although I'm definelty keen to now get something bigger!
Finding it weird not to put a seatbelt on and to be much smaller than most other things on the road, but getting use to it pretty quickly. Have managed a few 'bigger' rides from auckland to Tauranga, port waikato & out Hunua way. Havn't sorted out riding gear yet... not feelin too safe in my jeans & rain jacket! Any suggestions? I'm finding so hard to get a good fit, i'm not the tallest (165cm) with short arms & curvy middle portion! Everything I try on that manages to fit around my bust is way too long in the sleeve! Same with pants... if it fits my bootay then they are way too long in the leg.... help please!!
