So the plan goes like this...
Late 90's KR150 frame, being cut down for weight and new shaping. Has standard forks and rims (18"rear & 16" front), but will look to put 17" rims on. 15 month old Loncin 150 engine to be transplanted. Racing CDI unit but to be later replaced with home made (by Bert) programable unit. Standard KR rear brake caliper, with front to be sourced. Home made fairings and seat/cone. Home made hangers with standard gearing, not race shift. Colour yellow and called Nanook (after the Eskimo in Frank Zappa's yellow snow fame).
At this point I have
-Cut half the sub frame off and knead it'd the cut tube ends. More to come off as I get braver
-Cut the cradle off from the front but have left the base in to help with engine mounting, then will remove completely
-Made a mould for seat/cone from chicken wire, covered with gaffer tape and first layer of f/glass on
-Cut extra tube from clip on bars so they slide down forks
-Cut out standard top engine mount (cracked) and ground back welds
Not sure I have the patience to type the list of things needed to be done, let's put it down as 'lots'
Good times ahead
